It is contrary to Christian Science to suppose that life is either material or organically spiritual. Between Christian Science and all forms of superstition a great gulf is fixed, as impassable as that between Dives and Lazarus. There is mortal mind-reading and immortal Mind-reading. The latter is a revelation of divine purpose through spiritual understanding, by which man gains the divine Principle and explanation of all things. Mortal mind-reading and immortal Mind-reading are distinctly opposite standpoints, from which cause and effect are interpreted. The act of reading mortal mind investigates and touches only human beliefs. Science is immortal and coordinate neither with the premises nor with the conclusions of mortal beliefs."

Also the Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy . A Christian Science Study Resource known as the 'CONCORD', I use the desktop edition. And no other than Merriam-Webster's Dictionary wherein the definitions of Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, Principle and substance are recognized as synonymous with one omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent power. This omnipotence is the substance of Spirit, Life's reality and the true substance and nature of all being.
The metaphysical, spiritual interpretation of Biblical terms used throughout this site, are as stated from the pages of the "Glossary" chapter of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by:Mary Baker Eddy.

I Thess. 2:13. "This Mind-reading is the opposite of clairvoyance. It is the illumination of the spiritual understanding which demonstrates the capacity of Soul, not of material sense. Are you seeing, actually witnessing, Life's divine manifestation arriving in your personal experience? " This action of the divine energy, even if not acknowledged, has come to be seen as diffusing richest blessings." Miscellaneous Writings (p.166) line 13. Learn too, as I have learned through this enabling study, that divine energy is yours for the keeping. "Let us feel the divine energy of Spirit, bringing us into newness of life and recognizing no mortal nor material power as able to destroy. Let us rejoice that we are subject to the divine 'powers that be.' Such is the true Science of being."
